CAREERS · DESIGN ZONE

Build the BIM that defines Saudi 2030.

We hire people who care about the work. BIM modellers, MEP coordinators, ISO 19650 information managers, software engineers, and digital-twin specialists — across our Jeddah, Amman, and Cairo offices. We don't always have published openings; the sections below explain the areas we recruit for and how to send a CV that gets read. Every hire onboards on a live Vision 2030 project from week one — no shadow-bench, no theoretical training months, no busywork on slide decks before you touch the model.

  • 60+ specialists
  • 3 offices · KSA · JO · EG
  • EN + AR working languages
  • Autodesk ATC + BSI ACP
WHY WORK HERE

Three things that make Design Zone different to work at.

  1. 01

    Real giga-project work

Not slide decks. Not theoretical EIRs. You ship on the projects that define Saudi 2030 — King Salman Park, AMAALA, Qiddiya, NEOM-adjacent. Your model lands on tender packages owners actually buy from.

  2. 02

ISO 19650 by default, not aspiration

Every project runs on the standard from day one. You'll learn EIR / BEP / CDE / MIDP / TIDP not in a course, but by writing them — for projects that ship. Two years here is worth five elsewhere.

  3. 03

    In-house product + service

TwinMs and TwinMaq are real products engineered by our own team. BIM specialists, software developers, and digital-twin engineers in the same room. Career growth isn't just "more projects" — it's product → consulting → leadership.

WHAT YOU'D WORK ON

Across the BIM lifecycle, the products, and operations.

Right now we don't have published openings — but we keep CVs on file and reach out as soon as a matching role opens up. The pipeline of Vision 2030 work is consistent, so when a team lead has capacity to onboard, we hire fast. Send a CV with the area you want to grow in and a team lead will read it within a week.

  • Architectural BIM (LOD 300 → LOD 400) — Revit authoring, federation, fabrication-ready content
  • MEP BIM coordination — Revit MEP, Navisworks federation, BCF-driven clash resolution
  • ISO 19650 information management — EIR / BEP / CDE authoring + CDE administration
  • Heritage BIM (HBIM) — laser scan campaigns, point cloud → Revit, historic family library
  • TwinMs platform engineering — full-stack web, IoT integration, 3D real-time rendering
  • TwinMaq product engineering — 3D web pipeline, 360°/aerial capture workflows
  • Digital twin operations (Autodesk Tandem) — model-to-twin transitions, asset data structuring
  • 4D / 5D BIM — construction sequencing, cost integration with Cubicost / CostX
  • Training delivery — as an Autodesk ATC we run certified courses; trainers welcome too
HOW HIRING WORKS

Four steps, weeks not months.

We move fast on people we want to hire. The process is designed to be done in 2-3 weeks from first conversation to offer, with structured assessment instead of vibes-based interviews.

  1. 01

    Send a CV + portfolio

Email careers@designzone.com.sa with your CV, portfolio (if BIM/design), and a short note about which area you want to grow in. A team lead reads every submission within a week.

  2. 02

    Conversation with the team lead

30-45 min video call covering your past work, what you want next, and whether the area you're interested in has open need. No HR-style screening — straight to the team you'd work with.

  3. 03

    Structured assessment

Role-specific. BIM modellers get a Revit/Navisworks task drawn from real project work. Software engineers get a take-home with realistic scope. Information managers walk us through an EIR they'd author.

  4. 04

    Offer + onboarding

Decision within 5 working days of the assessment. Onboarding pairs you with a senior on a live project from week one — no shadow-bench time.

CAREERS · FAQ

Working at Design Zone — questions candidates ask.

Are you actively hiring right now?

Right now we don't have published open roles. But we keep CVs on file and reach out as soon as a matching opening comes up — the pipeline of Vision 2030 work is consistent, so when a team lead has capacity to onboard, we hire. The recommended path today is a speculative application to careers@designzone.com.sa with the area you want to grow in.

What roles do you typically hire?

The recurring areas are: BIM modellers (architectural, structural, MEP), MEP / clash-detection coordinators, ISO 19650 information managers, scan-to-BIM specialists (terrestrial laser scan, photogrammetry, point cloud → Revit), HBIM (heritage) specialists, full-stack software engineers for the TwinMs and TwinMaq platforms, 3D web / visualization engineers, and digital-twin operations engineers (Autodesk Tandem, IoT integration). We also hire trainers since we are an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre (ATC).

Do you offer remote or hybrid work?

Hybrid for roles where the work allows — software engineering, certain coordination roles, training delivery. On-site for delivery-critical project teams: site coordination, scan campaigns, owner-facing reviews. We have offices in Jeddah, Amman, and Cairo, so candidates from those cities default to office-based with hybrid days. Fully remote applications are considered case-by-case for senior software roles.

Do you hire fresh graduates or interns?

Yes — when an opening allows it. Junior BIM modellers and junior software engineers are recurring entry points. We expect strong fundamentals (Revit competence for BIM, a real shipped project for software) and we pair every junior with a senior on a live project from day one. We don't run a separate intern programme; junior hires sit on real projects with mentorship rather than on a shadow bench.

What software and certifications should I have?

For BIM roles: Revit is non-negotiable. Navisworks for coordination, Civil 3D for infrastructure, Tekla for steel-heavy structural. ISO 19650-2 awareness — BSI ACP Foundation or Practitioner is a plus, not a gate. For software: TypeScript / React / Node for the TwinMs and TwinMaq platforms; Three.js or 3D-web experience is a strong differentiator. Autodesk Tandem familiarity for digital-twin roles. We invest in certifications after hire — being certified before isn't a requirement.

How long is the hiring process?

Two to three weeks from CV to offer when both sides move. The structured assessment is the longest step (5-7 days for a take-home in software, or a Revit / Navisworks task for BIM). We give a yes / no within 5 working days of receiving the assessment. We don't ghost — every applicant hears back, and we tell candidates explicitly when there isn't a current match (so they can re-apply later when the pipeline shifts).

Can I send a speculative application?

Yes — that's the recommended path right now. Email careers@designzone.com.sa with your CV, a portfolio link if relevant (BIM models, GitHub, design work), and a one-paragraph note about which area you want to grow in. Team leads read every submission. If we don't have a current opening, your CV stays on file and we reach out when one matches your profile.
