Design Zone was founded in Amman, Jordan in 2013 by Dr. Esraa Al-Twassi — an architect by training, with a BSc in Architectural Engineering from Jordan University of Science & Technology, an MSc in Construction Project Management from Birmingham City University and a PhD in Architecture from Istanbul Okan University (2024, high honour). The company later expanded its operations and established its headquarters and primary business presence in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia — growing from an engineering services firm into the BIM partner behind some of the Kingdom’s most ambitious Vision 2030 work.
