Nursing Lab — five immersive scenarios.
The brief
Clinical nursing students need to practise patient assessment, communication, and procedures — including injections — before they ever touch a real patient. Traditional manikins are expensive, scarce, and silent. Real patients are not a safe practice space. The result is a gap between classroom theory and bedside competence.
Al-Zaytoonah University asked us to close that gap. We delivered five immersive 360° scenarios on standard VR headsets, integrated with their curriculum. Students step into a clinical environment, take a patient history, perform an examination, navigate a difficult conversation, and execute a procedure — with branching consequences and instructor scoring.
Each scenario is repeatable, risk-free, and instrumented. Faculty see exactly where students hesitated, what they missed, and how they recovered.
